Mohamed Soliman MD

Dr. Soliman is an associate clinical professor of ophthalmology and vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

He graduated from Cairo university, Egypt and has trained and worked in several US academic institutions including Johns Hopkins University, Louisiana State University, Washington University in St louis and the University of California Irvine.

He has been on the residency and fellowship selection committees of several of those institutions. He has a Master’s Degree in Medical education from the University of Cincinnati. 

Even more importantly Dr. Soliman is the founder of EAMTAR, a social media group which has guided thousands of IMGs for the past 15 years in getting into residency, fellowship and research.

He has spent the past 15 years mentoring and coaching IMGs at different career phases from medical school all the way to finding attending positions after US residency and fellowship.
